Meet Our Team
Reilly P. - Hygienist, RDH and Myofunctional Therapist, OMT
Reilly grew up in Massachusetts, where her family settled after her dad served in the Army for over 20 years. Growing up with a nurse for a mom, she knew from an early age that she wanted a career in healthcare centered around helping others and building meaningful relationships.
After seeing her sister work in a dental office, Reilly discovered that dentistry offered a unique opportunity to combine patient care, education, and long-term relationships in a way that truly resonated with her. She graduated from Tennessee State University with her degree in Dental Hygiene and has now been working in the dental field for over 10 years. Reilly has expanded her education and become an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, practicing within Sanitas Family Dentistry.
Reilly and her husband, Mark, moved to Colorado when his soccer career brought them west, and they quickly fell in love with Colorado. Mark is currently the Boys Elite Director for the Colorado Storm Soccer Association, and together they have built a wonderful life in Colorado alongside their dog, Scotia. Although she loves calling Colorado home, Reilly still misses her large East Coast family as the youngest of five siblings and aunt to fourteen amazing nieces and nephews.
Outside the office, Reilly enjoys playing basketball and volleyball whenever she gets the chance and cheering on her New England Patriots and Boston Celtics.
Reilly is passionate about providing high-quality, personalized patient care and creating a welcoming experience for every patient she meets. She is thrilled to be part of the team at Sanitas, working alongside Dr. Beseda and the exceptional staff to continue delivering outstanding care to the community.
Katie H. - Lead Chairside Assistant
Katie is a Colorado native, born and raised in Boulder. She has spent time studying and playing soccer at The Evergreen State College in Washington state. In 2017, she hiked for five months along the Pacific Crest Trail, from Mexico to Canada.
Katie joined the office team as a hygiene assistant in 2019 and went back to school to become a chairside assistant in 2021! She loves learning new skills and working directly with patients.
While outside the office, Katie spends time hiking, swimming, playing soccer and takes an occasional stab at pottery!
Lisa K. - Hygienist, RDH
Lisa grew up in the Northwest and has lived in Colorado since 2000. She loves being in the business of smiles and knew at a very young age a career in Dentistry was her dream. Lisa worked front office, then trained as a chairside assistant in her small town dental practice that her family went to for their dental care.
Lisa worked her way through college and received her license for Dental Hygiene in 1997. After working with Dr. Beseda in the past, she had the unexpected opportunity to work with her again and is thrilled to be a part of the Sanitas Family Dentistry team!
Lisa enjoys a busy life full of adventures shared with family and friends. Simple walks, new food venues, Summer and Winter snowboarding, paddleboarding, traveling anywhere, anytime she can. Lisa and her husband, Dennis, have three kids and recently began a new chapter of “empty nesting”.
Lisa is currently spending some time in California for her husband’s job, but is missing us terribly and looks forward to returning to Sanitas in 2024!
Lisa H. - Hygienist, RDH, BS
Lisa is a native of the Chicago area, and attended Marquette University where she received her BS in Dental Hygiene. She moved to Colorado in 2017 with her husband and 2 young children for more adventure and sunshine!
Together, they love to ski in the winter and enjoy traveling back to the Midwest in the summer to spend time with family. Lisa enjoys the balance her part time work career provides, so she can volunteer at school, help on the PTO, and be a part of her children’s active lives. She enjoys long walks, coffee dates, traveling, and trying new restaurants with friends and family.
Lisa is so excited to be working at Sanitas Family Dentistry! She brings 20 years of hygiene experience with her. After having worked with Dr. Krista in the past, being reunited with her again has been a blessing in her life.
Veronika C. - Hygienist
Veronika was born and raised in Kentucky where she received her degree in dental hygiene. In 2019 she and her husband moved to Colorado to live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and haven’t looked back.
In her free time, Veronika likes to be outside, practice yoga, read, and spend time with her husband, Deven, and daughter, Eliza. On her days off you can often find her hiking, backpacking or camping with her family.
Veronika is thrilled to become part of the team at Sanitas and take care of the wonderful patients here. She loves making people feel great about their smile and is excited to work with Dr. Beseda and the rest of the staff.
Kai S. - Chairside Assistant/Hygiene Assistant
Hi, my name is Kai! I’m a proud Colorado Springs native and a current student at CU Boulder. I am majoring in Integrated Physiology on the Pre-Dental track. Alongside my science coursework, I'm also pursuing a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. I am actively preparing for dental school with the ultimate goal of specializing in oral surgery.
I am deeply ingrained in the campus and community through various projects. I take an active role in CU Boulder's Student Government, as well as being a dedicated member of the Pre-Dental Club. To further my commitment to both dentistry and service, I founded the Global Dental Brigades chapter at CU Boulder, where I am leading a group of students on a trip to Panama to deliver essential dental care to underrepresented communities. In addition to this, I volunteer with Boulder Public Library to do reading buddies. I enjoy this because it gives me a chance to work 1-on-1 with a child who is struggling with English reading and writing proficiency.
Having lived in Colorado my entire life, I have a deep love for the outdoors and use it to maintain a great balance with my academic schedule. When I'm not in the classroom or gaining valuable hands-on experience in the dental office, you can usually find me staying active outside. I love hitting the mountains to snowboard in the winter, and year-round, I just love to get out and run.
